If you are here, you are probably interested in the study of social mobility and inequality, as you have arrived to a website dedicated to a workshop on "intergenerational mobility and income inequality". This workshop brings together both national and international scholars for three days to discuss new possibilities and directions in using administrative data in the study of social and economic inequality, as well as deliberating on recent analyses on intergenerational mobility and rising income inequalities. The workshop is founded by the Israeli Science Foundation, Haifa center on the politics of inequality, University of Haifa and The Israel Academy of sciences and humanities, and is hosted by Tali Kristal and Meir Yaish from the Department of Sociology at the University of Haifa and Limor Gabay-Egozi from the Department of Sociology at the Bar-Ilan University .Â
